Main reason this one took me so long is that couldn’t care less for this episode. Okay, it looked very pretty. And it did raise some interesting and important questions… but they were dismissed so quickly never to be mentioned again that it only added to the overall disappointment. Haven’t seen the finale yet, but I think I can safely say that this was by far my least favourite episode of the series. Quite liked Maebh though. I thought she was nice.

I think the only thing I loved about this episode was what the Doctor said about forgetting - "If you didn't forget you'd stop having wars ...and having babies."

I was really annoyed about Maebh's sister returning in the end - one of the main reasons British drama clicks for me is that it's more life-like, it has these imperfect or downright sad finales (like in LoM, especially in the first series, or in In The Flesh) and even Doctor Who always had stuff you just had to learn to live with, Ten's angst, Donna forgetting, all the stuff that didn't go as planned. And now we have a randomly returning sister like it's a Disney cartoon. :stare: Actually I don't get why the sister was needed in the plot at all, as if people don't start hearing voices without EPICLY TRAGIC DRAMAS in their lives. And those 5 minutes she used up in total could be used to make the rest of the episode less choppy.

To make it worse, I think I just spoiled a chunk of the finale by clicking on DW art of an artist who's usually very careful about spoilers (so you know, be careful out there). If it's true and not an exaggeration - son, I am disappoint. :grump:

But yeah, I liked the kids, they were a good mix of annoying and amusing. I really like how Clara being a teacher adds more children into the stories compared to the usual one or two episodes per series.
